Site Work & Concrete
We do our own concrete and site work — it is not subbed out. Foundations, retaining walls, slabs, driveways, drainage, grading, excavation and demolition. On hillside lots in Saratoga, Los Gatos and Woodside, good site work is the difference between a house that lasts and one that moves. We pour to the engineer’s spec, we compact properly, and we get drainage right the first time.

Typical Timeline
Driveways and flatwork run 1–2 weeks. Retaining walls and foundations run 3–8 weeks depending on engineering and inspections.
Good to Know
- Retaining walls over 4 feet need engineering and a permit in most cities. We handle both.
- Concrete cures best in mild weather. Heavy winter rain can pause pours — we schedule around it.
- Drainage problems show up in winter. The best time to fix them is summer and fall, before the rain.
